Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Daytime Line Cook to join our commissary kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality food service during daytime hours. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where culinary skills and food safety are paramount. The Daytime Line Cook will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our online ordering guests and delivery drivers, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Typical Hours: 9am to 5pm.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, including meal preparation and food presentation.
- Assist in food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and prep stations.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Follow serving protocols to ensure proper portioning and presentation of dishes.
- Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation at all times.
- Assist with production work, cleaning and catering orders / events as needed.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience as a line cook or in food preparation is preferred.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to cooking, food handling, and safety procedures.
- Experience with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with restaurant environments and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
