AZ Driver opportunityWe are seeking reliable and skilled AZ drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate dry vans and reefers to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Operate heavy equipment as required for specific delivery tasks.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 7 months of verifiable AZ experience
- Clean abstract and CVOR
- Must have experience in LTL deliveries
- Must be punctual and have good attendance
Pay Structure:
- $0.70 per mile
- $15 per stop- Dock
- $25 per stop-Use of power tailgate
- $21.05 /hour spare driver time
- $25.00/hour for wait time-Compensated after 2 hours
