Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operator for our Box Forming Machine to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, with a focus on packaging and machine operation. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior warehouse or machining experience is a plus, along with familiarity with forklift operation. The Operator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the box forming process, maintaining safety standards, and supporting overall production goals.
Duties
- Operate and monitor the box forming machine to produce high-quality packaging products according to specifications
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Adjust machine settings as needed for different product sizes and types
- Load raw materials and assist with material handling using forklifts or manual methods
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during machine operation
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Document production data accurately and report any issues or malfunctions promptly
- Assist in packaging finished products for shipment or storage
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or machining environments preferred
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or background in operating industrial machinery is highly desirable
- Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs or adjustments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
