Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Coordinator within our Indirect Procurement Department. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the efficient procurement of indirect goods and services while supporting cross-functional teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring experience, initiative, and a proactive approach to optimizing procurement processes, taking on analytical tasks, and driving added value for the department.
Main Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and processing of purchase orders based on contracts, quotes, and stakeholder requests;

Manage procurement activities for indirect goods and services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures;

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders to clarify order details and address procurement inquiries;

Track and monitor the status of open purchase orders, ensuring timely resolution of any issues or delays;

Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and databases to reflect changes, receipts, and reconciliations;

Partner with Finance and Accounts Payable teams to reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate timely supplier payments;

Optimize procurement processes by leveraging experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems, ensuring efficiency and alignment with best practices;

Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement workflows and processes;

Lead or assist in one-off procurement projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role, with a strong preference for indirect procurement expertise;

Experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems and process optimization;

Strong understanding of procurement and accounting principles;

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Purchase Order software (e.g., Reqlogic, SAP, Oracle, etc.);

Good analytical skills;
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
-
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines;
-
Excellent communication skills;
-
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.
