Squires Industrial Services Ltd. is growing and we're looking for an experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Our technicians work on a wide variety of equipment for customers in construction, mining, agriculture, transportation, and industrial sectors. No two days are the same.
What You'll Be Working On
- Heavy construction equipment
- Highway trucks and trailers
- Agricultural equipment
- Mining equipment
- Diesel engines
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical diagnostics
- Engine, transmission, and differential repairs
- Preventative maintenance
- Shop and field service repairs
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Complete accurate work orders using our digital shop management system
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in after-hours service when required
Qualifications
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal preferred)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1A or 3A is an asset)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with CAT, John Deere, Case, Komatsu, Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, and similar equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
