TRG is hiring General workers for a client in Brantford, It’s a cold storage. Only apply if you are comfortable working in cooler type Negative temp environment.
Shift - 8:00am - 4:00 (some weeks extended hours)
Payrate- $18/hr (SIN JOB)
Location - Brantford
Job Duties
- Work as part of the Assembly Line packaging in a production setting majorly labelling, packaging of the products. (ice creams)
- Remove completed products from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
- Building pallets of finished goods cases and safely moving them to the warehouse
- Staying focused on Quality and looking for any non-conformance like bag leaks, product issues, label issues
- Help wherever needed on the line, duties may include sweeping, collecting garbage, case packing, and covering line vacancies during breaks.
- Working Conditions: Repetitive work, lifting to 30 lbs, cold environment (cold freezer)
- Must have CSA approved Safety shoes, Winter jackets.
What we need from you:
- Good communications skills (verbal and written)
- Previous manufacturing experience in a packaging cold environment is considered a strong asset
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
