Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vacuum Truck Operator/Driver to join our Haz Waste and heavy equipment team. This role involves operating specialized vacuum trucks for various industrial and construction projects, ensuring efficient and safe removal of materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, commercial driving, and a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. Candidates with knowledge of Vacuum Trucks and Industrial Cleaning equipment will be highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring mechanical expertise and safe operation of machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum trucks safely and efficiently to perform , removal, and transportation of materials on Industrial sites
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on vacuum trucks to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment at job sites
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Operate additional Industrial cleaning Equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to operation and Industrial site procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment usage
- Support other activities requiring mechanical knowledge or Industrial equipment operation
Skills
- Proven experience operating vacuum trucks in a construction or industrial setting
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Commercial driving experience with a valid CDL license preferred
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate Skidsteer or similar Industrial equipment confidently
- Strong understanding of safety standards in Industrial environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to various project requirements involving Industrial Cleaning equipment operation and site management
Pay: $33.00-$38.00 per hour
