Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting cabinet goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in kitchen cabinet manufacturing, commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to train into cabinet shop work.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery cube van, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers or distribution centers
- Assist with moving heavy items and organizing deliveries for efficiency
- Communicate effectively with management and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Uphold safety standards at all times during loading, transit, and delivery processes
- Ensure customer homes are respected and no damage to the property occurs during delivery
Skills
- Moving heavy items safely and efficiently
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus for handling warehouse inventory
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
- A valid driver’s license is required

Pay: $16.15-$18.00 per hour
