Position Summary:
- Provide clinical assessment and evidence-based treatment for adolescents and young adults with first episode psychosis (NAVIGATE).
- In partnership with clients and families/significant others and treatment team, develop, implement and evaluate overall treatment goals
- Educate and support families/significant others
- Consult with community agencies to maintain coordination in the client’s treatment process

Qualifications:
- M.S.W. from an accredited Faculty of Social Work
- Member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service workers (OCSWSSW)
- Registered Social Worker (RSW)
- Minimum three years post graduate experience working with adolescents and young adults experiencing first episode psychosis
- Knowledge of the NAVIGATE model an asset
- Experience working individually and in groups
- Experience in providing wide range of treatment services and approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, and psycho-educational groups for adolescents and young adults
- Thorough knowledge of adolescent development, family dynamics and systems
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills combined with the ability to work independently as well as part of an inter-professional team
- Excellent assessment and documentation skills
