Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects by performing manual tasks that contribute to the overall success of our operations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies
- Prepare work sites by cleaning and organizing tools and equipment
- Perform general manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures and wearing protective gear
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Ensure work areas are clean and free of hazards throughout the shift
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar manual labor roles is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation to job sites if necessary
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
