Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting, particularly in acute care and pediatrics. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, utilizing medical terminology effectively, and developing personalized treatment plans to enhance recovery and improve the quality of life for patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote healing and rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, exercises, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred, especially in acute care settings.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.

Pay: $80,000.00-$157,121.65 per year
