Armtec is looking for a Brake Press Operator to join our production team in Guelph, Ontario. In this hands-on role, you'll operate and set up brake press equipment to manufacture quality metal components while helping ensure our products meet the high standards our customers expect.

As a Brake Press Operator, you will:

Set up and operate brake press equipment to manufacture quality products that meet company specifications.

Change tooling and dies to support production requirements.

Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.

Complete quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.

Perform daily machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.

Keep equipment clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently.

Identify minor equipment issues and perform basic adjustments or corrective actions.

Complete production records and quality documentation accurately.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Work collaboratively with your supervisor and teammates to meet production goals.
We're looking for someone who is dependable and safety-focused

1–2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in metal fabrication or metal forming.

Experience operating and programming a brake press is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Experience operating a forklift and overhead crane is an asset (training and certification provided if required).

Experience using hand and power tools.

Experience with plasma cutting and welding is considered an asset.

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment adjustments and routine maintenance.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
