Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Epoxy Floor Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying epoxy coatings, and ensuring durable, high-quality flooring installations. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with hand tools, and a solid understanding of flooring techniques. Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing as needed to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings
- Mix and apply epoxy resins accurately according to project specifications
- Use hand tools such as trowels, brushes, rollers, and squeegees to spread epoxy evenly across floors
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures
- Assist in surface leveling, tile laying, caulking, and other related flooring tasks as required
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times during installation processes
Experience
- Prior experience a in flooring installation, epoxy coating application, or related construction trades preferred
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, carpentry, tile laying, and blueprint reading is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures is essential
- Handyman experience or general construction background will be considered an asset
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
