Commercial Transport Mechanic:
Duties include maintenance, repairs, and diagnosis of trucks, trailers, and forklifts including hydraulic and electrical systems. As well, as knowledge and involvement in disassembling and re-assembling all components of heavy equipment.
In this Role responsibilities include:
- Support company policies and procedures regarding, health and safety, and scheduled maintenance programs.
- Diagnosing various equipment for malfunctions and faults
- Cleaning, lubricating and maintaining equipment
- Interpreting work orders and manuals
- Writing service reports.
- Ensure all work performed meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations.
What you bring:
- 1st year to Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
- Class G Driver’s License
- Welding experience will be considered and asset
- Basic computer skills
- A strong command of the English language ( written and verbal)
- Experience in the Disposal Industry will be considered and asset
