Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to facilitate recovery and improve function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure cohesive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices and integrate evidence-based approaches into patient care
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Registered with the Alberta colleges and associations
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric patients and those requiring acute care services
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare standards
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $80.00-$111.89 per hour
