Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Specialist to support the fabrication and assembly of windows, doors, and curtain wall systems. This is a hands-on position focused on following established production processes, meeting assigned timelines, and maintaining high quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with production, quality, and installation teams to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate windows, doors, and curtain wall components according to work instructions and shop drawings
- Operate production machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Prepare, handle, and assemble aluminum profiles, glass units, hardware, and related materials
- Perform in-process and final visual inspections to ensure quality requirements are met
- Identify and report defects, material issues, or equipment concerns to the supervisor
- Ensure completed products are accurate and ready for delivery or installation
- Accurately complete required production or inspection documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow detailed work instructions
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks as required
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to read and follow shop drawings, measurements, and work instructions
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial assembly environment is considered an asset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with window, door, or curtain wall production
- Familiarity with aluminum fabrication, glazing, or framing systems
- Experience working in a shop or factory environment
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
