Position Summary
A Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests, clients, or visitors, providing professional and courteous service in two languages. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, clients, or visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Communicate fluently in English and French to assist diverse clientele
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails promptly
- Manage reservations, appointments, or check-ins/check-outs (if hospitality-based)
- Maintain visitor logs and issue badges when required
- Handle payments, billing inquiries, and basic financial transactions
- Provide information about services, policies, and local attractions (if applicable)
- Resolve guest concerns or escalate issues to appropriate departments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and scheduling
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Fluency in French and English (written and verbal proficiency required)
- Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or front desk management software
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
