JOB SUMMARY:
The Logistics Coordinator supports daily shipping, receiving, and transportation activities to ensure the timely movement of materials and finished goods. This role works closely with staff, carriers, and internal teams to keep production priorities running smoothly.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma required

1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse coordination

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with shipping documents and basic transportation processes

Experience using ERP systems or shipping/logistics software (preferred)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams

Clear communication with drivers and internal teams

Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP systems)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate day-to-day inbound and outbound shipments

Book freight with carriers and confirm pickup/delivery times

Prepare and process shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, invoices)

Track shipments and follow up on delays or delivery issues
-
Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status
-
Support inventory accuracy by updating shipment and receiving records
-
Work to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly

Maintain organized records of shipments, freight costs, and delivery confirmations

Follow company safety procedures and transportation compliance requirements
