Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides and caregivers to provide exceptional support and care to our clients. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being for individuals across various care settings including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for caregiving and experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized care such as dementia or hospice support.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to prevent falls or injuries.
- Follow care plans accurately and report any changes in health status to supervising staff.
- Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques.
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff, therapists, and family members to deliver comprehensive care.

Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and caregiving techniques.
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or dementia care.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a patient-centered approach to caregiving.
- Ability to handle cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
