Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Mechanic 310S to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair, dealership service, and maintenance, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems
- Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs performed
- Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support team members in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Engage with customers professionally to explain repair procedures and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Mechanic 310S certification required
- Proven dealership experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Experience with welding, schematics reading, assembly, and maintenance tasks
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues accurately using technical manuals and schematics
- Previous mechanic experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding setting
