Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and catering menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is handled, stored, and prepared following food safety regulations
- Assist with meal assembly, presentation, and packaging for catering orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet the specific needs of each event or order
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies for efficient operation
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple orders or events simultaneously
- Flexibility to work on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
