Position: Receiver (Reverse Raymond Reach Operator) - Afternoon shift ; Full Time Permanent Position
Our Brampton facility is located at 379 Orenda Road, Brampton, ON L6T 1G6.
Wage: $ 21.00 / hour to start with shift premiums of:
Shift Premiums: extra $ 0.75 / hour (between 6pm-12am) and $ 1.00 hour (between 12am-6am).
Raymond Reach Premium: $1.00 / hour and Freezer Premium $0.50 / hour also available where applicable
Coverage for Shipping department may be required per business needs - training will be provided.
Flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary.
SHIFT: Afternoon Shift (shift is typically 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) but varies due to vacation, coverage, etc.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Complete all necessary Pre-Op's prior to the start of each shift
- Print goods Receive note for deliveries for the day either the day before or the morning of delivery
- Ensure drivers sign in sheet is filled out correctly with all necessary information
- Load and Unload trailers
- Visually check if trailers within compliance when offloading.
- Complete visual inspection of incoming ingredients and packaging.
- Upon Each delivery ,verify the order.
- Store materials that arrive in the proper location in warehouse
- Receiving materials from outside vendors,deliver material to production lines .
- Maintain paper work and database
- Cycle Counting Product Inventory
- Movement of Finished Products for Shipment
- Location Control Information Maintenance
- Perform basic computer functions
- General Labour Duties as Required
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries
Job Requirements:
- Must be forklift certified – Reverse Raymond Reach Truck
- Heavy lifting. (Up to 50 pounds) and attention to detail
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends
- Must be able to work in cold environment.
- PPE will be provided – steel toes footwear is required. Company issued after probation.
- Perform basic math.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions as well as safety regulations.
- Expected to maintain the cleanliness of the work area.
- Must be able to understand and perform lot and location control.
- Able to work independently.
- Must be legal to work in Canada
