Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Store Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product sales, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for the outdoors and outdoor gear.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation
- Engage in ongoing product knowledge training to stay informed about new merchandise
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
