Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly desirable, and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures is essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Remove and install tires using appropriate hand tools and power equipment
- Inspect tires and wheels for damage, wear, and proper alignment
- Perform tire balancing, rotation, and repair services efficiently and accurately
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance related to tires and suspension systems
- Assist customers with tire selection, sales, and related automotive needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot tire-related issues and recommend solutions
- Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to handle tires of various sizes
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dealership or automotive mechanic environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and tire maintenance
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic automotive repair techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship at all times
Pay: $17.85-$34.14 per hour
