Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess health history, lifestyle, and wellness goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing natural therapies, including herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, acupuncture, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide expert guidance on pediatrics and general patient care to support patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on medical terminology and health concepts to promote understanding and engagement in their healing process.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatments as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Naturopathic Doctor or equivalent credential in your region.
- Proven experience in providing patient care with a focus on holistic health approaches.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to naturopathic practice.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and medical concepts to diverse patients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
