Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician with strong experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D to support our engineering and design team. This role is essential in assisting the VP of Engineering and project engineers with the preparation of drawings and technical documents for land development and municipal infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise detailed CAD drawings, plans, and layouts for site development, servicing, and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering to deliver high-quality design packages.
- Support healthcare, multi-residential, and housing project teams with accurate and timely drafting.
- Maintain drawing records, ensure compliance with municipal standards, and assist with project submissions.
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (land development and municipal focus).
- Experience in preparing drawings for municipal infrastructure projects is an asset.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
