We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial landscapes. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various tools effectively. As a Lawn Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that lawns and gardens are healthy, vibrant, and well-maintained.
Duties
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to effectively maintain landscapes.
- Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed to ensure optimal growth.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting new grass or garden beds.
- Build garden features such as flower beds or decorative elements as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly store tools after use.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools and equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful landscapes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
