Old Hippy Wood Products is looking for an experienced woodworker to join our growing family-run team. If you have professional experience building solid wood furniture, gluing panels, and take pride in quality craftsmanship, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble solid wood furniture
- Professionally glue up wood panels and ensure proper alignment and quality.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and follow production specifications and shop procedures.
- Inspect your work to ensure it meets our quality standards.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily goals in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional woodworking experience, preferably building solid wood furniture.
- Experience with panel glue-ups and furniture assembly.
- Comfortable using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Dependable, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
