Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage of ingredients
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service and meet customer expectations
- Lead menu development and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience
- Uphold food safety standards and monitor adherence to sanitation protocols
- Serve as a leader in the kitchen, demonstrating professionalism and fostering teamwork
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations
- Supervising experience or team management skills within a food service setting
