Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office software. Experience in medical or dental office settings is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and patients in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed
- Manage direct billing to insurance through extendicare and HCAI
- Schedule appointments with patient and managing calendars and following up with appointments
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant tools
- Handle filing, patient record keeping, and document organization to ensure easy retrieval of information
- Provide patient support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office workflow
Skills
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Prior administrative experience preferred, especially in medical or dental offices
- Prior experience billing insurances through extendicare and/or HCAI
- Ability to handle patient interactions professionally and courteously
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
