Lawn Care Technician / Team Lead

Snow & Mow Inc. is a growing property maintenance company serving residential and commercial clients across the St. John’s area. We are currently hiring Lawn Care Technicians and experienced Team Leads to join our field operations team for the upcoming season.
This is a hands-on outdoor role involving a wide range of property maintenance tasks including lawn care, landscaping, and seasonal property services.
Position Overview
We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals who take pride in quality work and enjoy working outdoors as part of a team. Positions available include entry-level Lawn Care Technicians as well as experienced Team Leads responsible for overseeing crews and job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing and trimming on residential and commercial properties
- General landscaping duties including cleanups, mulching, and bed maintenance
- Fertilizer applications and basic turf care services
- Spring and fall cleanups including leaf removal and debris clearing
- Hedge trimming and light pruning
- Property detailing including edging, blowing off hard surfaces, and finishing work
- Basic equipment operation and daily maintenance of tools and vehicles
- Safe operation of landscaping equipment and adherence to company safety standards
- Client property care with attention to detail and professionalism
Additional Responsibilities for Team Lead Candidates
- Leading a small crew on daily job assignments
- Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to company standards
- Communicating with management regarding job progress and site issues
- Training and supporting junior staff
- Managing time on site and helping organize daily workflow
- Basic reporting and job site coordination
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (asset, may be required for lead roles)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Previous landscaping or lawn care experience is an asset but not required for entry-level roles
- Leadership experience required for Team Lead consideration

Work Environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$22.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
