Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and excellent food safety practices. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are paramount. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn the art of pizza making and food service.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or during delivery orders
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain high hygiene standards
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if necessary
