Your future role on our team
We’re looking for a talented candidate to help technical teams write and format documents. Your role as a project assistant will primarily involve revising content and formatting it based on the firm’s standards.
With us, you’ll get the opportunity to...
- Revise documents such as specifications, estimates, reports and proposals, and ensure the accuracy of cost tables
- Collaborate effectively with writers to:
- Gather and supply the information necessary to prepare project documents
- Improve text structure and content understanding, such as pointing out ambiguities in certain passages
- Format various documents based on existing templates and standards
- Occasionally help with administrative office management (such as replacing the receptionist)

Overview of certifications and job requirements
- DCS or DPS in a relevant field
- At least five years of experience in a similar position (in a range of fields) or any other combination of relevant education and experience
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Proficient with MS Word and strong knowledge of MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Adobe (PDF)
- Ability to work on several files simultaneously
- Asset: experience in the consulting engineering industry or in any other professional services field
