Follow all Hotel Service Standards
Sets up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space, and storage areas to include the carpet, walls, walks, doors, windows, heating/air conditioning units
Quickly and efficiently retrieves all materials needed for setup of banquet facilities, including those events outside of normal convention space
Provides prompt, courteous service to guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere
Provides quality service to both internal and external guests, specifically maintaining established quality standards for timely banquet service
Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in all banquet service areas and for all banquet service equipment
Follows company standards of hospitality
Demonstrate full knowledge of banquet areas and keep banquet service areas properly stocked and cleaned
Qualifications for banquet porter
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to grasp, kneel, stoop, and bend on a regular basis
- Needs to be able to work a variety of shifts
- Previous experience performing a physically demanding work load
- Smart Serve Certificate
