Job Description:
As an Asphalt Raker, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation and finishing of asphalt surfaces, ensuring smooth and even distribution. You will work as part of a paving crew to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Rake, smooth, and level hot asphalt to ensure proper distribution and compaction.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment at job sites.
- Work closely with machine operators and other crew members to maintain a consistent workflow.
- Ensure the job site remains clean and organized.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Perform general labor duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the asphalt paving or construction industry.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Minimum G License required. ARZ or AZ are preferred.
- Ability to follow directions and safety protocols.
