We are a growing organization seeking a highly organized, proactive, and creative Marketing Assistant to support our dynamic marketing team. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where no two days look the same.
This position blends social media execution, marketing communications, and project coordination, requiring a candidate who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and excited to contribute fresh, innovative ideas. You’ll work across multiple brands and initiatives, acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, including agencies.
Bilingual candidates (English & Québécois French) are strongly preferred and eligible for enhanced compensation, however it is NOT required.
What You’ll Do :
Social Media & Content Execution
- Support the development and execution of social media strategies across platforms
- Create, schedule, and publish content using social scheduling tools (e.g., PromoRepublic or similar)
- Assist in building and maintaining monthly content calendars
- Monitor engagement, trends, and performance metrics to inform improvements
- Edit basic photo/video content using tools like Canva and CapCut
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and agencies to produce engaging content
Marketing Communications & Copywriting
- Develop and support internal and external communications including blog posts, newsletters, email campaigns, and general marketing copy
- Utilize tools like Microsoft Copilot to assist with content creation and ideation
- Support or adapt content for French-language audiences (Québec market) where applicable (If applicable)
- Ensure brand voice and messaging consistency across all channels
- Proofread and fact-check content to maintain quality and accuracy
Project Coordination & Agency Liaison
- Coordinate multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, external agencies, and partners
- Assist in building project briefs, assigning tasks, and tracking deliverables
- Maintain organized workflows using project management tools (e.g., Notion or similar)
- Support evolving marketing initiatives based on organizational priorities
Marketing Strategy & Digital Support
- Assist in executing campaigns across social media, email, SEO, and digital channels
- Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and brand visibility
- Stay current with marketing trends, tools, and best practices
Data & Reporting
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and social media
- Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data
- Support data-driven decision-making across projects
What You Bring
- Strong interest or experience in marketing, communications, or social media
- Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools
- Experience with Canva (Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or AI-based writing tools for content creation
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities
- Comfortable learning new platforms and systems (e.g., POS systems like Toast)
- Experience working with agencies or external partners is an asset
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Meta, Google Analytics) is a plus
Bonus / Preferred:
- Fluency in Québécois French (spoken and written)
- Experience supporting bilingual (English/French) marketing campaigns
Compensation Note
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Additional compensation premium available for bilingual (English/French) candidates, particularly with strong written proficiency for marketing content
