Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
- Engage in order picking and packaging to prepare items for shipment.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and manage stock levels effectively.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is essential.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience in manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
