Weldflow Metal Products is an established custom sheet metal fabrication company serving a diverse customer base throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We utilize modern manufacturing equipment and are seeking an experienced Fiber Laser Operator to join our team.
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Fiber Laser Operator with a minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC fiber laser cutting equipment. Experience with AMADA fiber lasers is highly preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining laser cutting operations while ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
' Operate and maintain fiber laser cutting machines, ensuring high precision and efficiency.
- Set up machines according to job specifications and optimize cutting parameters.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate production.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on finished products.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.'
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Fiber Laser operating experience.
- Experience with AMADA Fiber Laser equipment preferred.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Experience handling steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proven experience operating AMADA fiber laser machines.
