The Landscape Foreman is a key leadership role within Salisbury Landscaping. You are the connection between the Designer, Operations Team, Client, and Crew — ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to Salisbury’s high standards.
This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, communicates well with clients and crews, and takes pride in building premium residential landscapes.
You will lead and mentor crew members while helping deliver exceptional customer experiences and award-winning projects throughout the Edmonton area.

Review projects with Designers, Operations, and Clients before and during construction

Develop and execute installation plans for assigned projects

Lead crews onsite and step into projects at any stage when required

Maintain accountability for project profitability, timelines, and quality standards

Track project materials, labour, and progress throughout installation

Troubleshoot onsite issues and collaborate with Designers and Clients on solutions

Complete crew timesheets, paperwork, and purchase orders accurately and on time
-
Mentor, train, and coach crew members on installation techniques and best practices
-
Read and understand elevations, grading, drainage, and construction details
-
Promote a positive, productive, and professional work environment

Maintain clean, organized jobsites, vehicles, and equipment
-
Ensure all safety requirements and COR standards are followed on-site

Complete required safety documentation, including:

Toolbox Meetings

Hazard Assessments

Inspections

Incident Reports

Operate equipment and tools required to complete projects safely and efficiently

Minimum 5 years’ experience building custom residential landscapes
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising and leading crews

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

Ability to mentor and develop team members

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-
Ability to read plans, elevations, and drainage layouts

Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
-
Minimum 3 years of personal auto insurance history
-
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing demanding outdoor work

Ability to push and pull 60–100 lbs as required

Projects completed safely, efficiently, and to Salisbury standards

Strong communication with clients, designers, and operations
