This incredible role is a temporary position for 10 weeks with 35-40 hours per week and the potential to continue into a permanent, part-time position. Flexible shifts are available during the week, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Applicants must meet Canada Summer Jobs eligibility requirements, including being between 15–30 years of age, legally entitled to work in Canada, and having a valid Social Insurance Number.

- Plan and lead safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate day camp activities for children ages 5–12, adapting as needed to camper needs and daily conditions.
- Supervise campers to ensure their safety, well-being, and inclusion at all times.
- Build positive relationships with children through encouragement, guidance, and role modelling.
- Support children with diverse needs using a strengths-based and inclusive approach.
- Observe, document, and support behaviour care plans in collaboration with the Program Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents/guardians, team members, and supervisors.
- Participate in pre-summer training and ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Assist with camp outings, special events, and community-based activities.
- Maintain clean, organized program spaces and manage equipment and supplies.
- Over 16 years of age or older to work in Recreational Day Camps.
- Must be 19 years of age or older for licensed Day Camps (as per Provincial licensing standards)
- 19 or older with Responsible Adult (20 hours of professional development in the area of: Health, Safety, and Nutrition; Child Development; or Guiding and Caring)
- Experience working with children and youth with exceptionalities an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion to help children achieve their full potential through purposeful programming and implementation.
- Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR level B or C (is an asset)
- Valid class 4 Driver's License (is an asset)
