We are currently hiring an Extruder operator for one of our clients, a dynamic leader who thrives in the world of manufacturing excellence.
Our client is located at Steeles and Torbram area of Brampton
Shifts Available:
Night Shift - Monday - Thursday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Night Shift - Weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Day Shift - Weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23.40 per hr + $1.00 Night shift premium
Job Responsibility:
- Standing for 12 hours
- Going up and down stairs - working on different mezzanines
- Environment: Hot - special protective gloves for heat will be provided
- Put up the bubble, thread the line with the plastic
- Running the extrusion lines
- Perform quality checks
- Problem solving - rectify any issues with seals, openings, length of the bag,
- hole punches, printing issues
- Add alcohol, solvent & ink to the pump - this is performing viscosity checks
- Detail orientated
- Fast paced environment
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in hot environment
- Must Have experience with Blown Film
- Must be able to work in a loud environment
- Must be able to stand for most of the shift
- Must have computer skills
- Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment 2+ years.
- Extruder operator 2+ years of experience is a must
- Must have QC experience
- Must have experience running the extrusion lines
- Experience in blow film 2+ years its a must
