We are looking for a Sous Chef to join us on this journey.

Experience you bring:
· Minimum 4 years of previous experience as Sous Chef or supervisory position in food and beverage or related professional environment
· Knowledge of purchasing/receiving goods and inventory controls; previous experience managing food and labour costs
· Proven ability to effectively inspire, motivate and manage a diverse team
· Exceptional communication skills with all levels of the organization
Your Day to Day:
Supporting and assisting the Head Chef with the following:
· Supervise and maintain all kitchen operations and facilitate the day-to-day operations within food and labor operational budgets
· Lead shifts and supervise activities of cooks ensuring consistent product execution
· Active involvement in process improvement through solution development and implementation
· Participate in the creative process of menu development
· Ability to distinguish superior quality local product, flavor profiles, presentation, and storage methods
· Assist in creating a progressive kitchen culture by engaging all members of the kitchen to be collaborative and involved in the creative process
· Communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate teamwork, inspire and encourage others, coach, train, and maintain accountability of staff members
· Respond to and manage guest concerns and support service measures that increase customer satisfaction and retention
