We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and contribute to various building projects. This role involves hands-on work in construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and eager to learn about the construction industry in a fast-paced environment. Most of our work includes commercial renovations.
Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and setting up necessary tools and materials
- Support supervisors/carpenters in their tasks
- Basic demolition work as needed
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Assist with site cleanup and organization at the end of each workday
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards to ensure efficient progress
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
