Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks efficiently
- Work on renovation projects, ensuring electrical systems meet current codes and standards
- Install and maintain low voltage systems, including security alarms, communication lines, and control wiring
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical issues and implement corrective actions
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for self and team members
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to complete projects on time
Experience
- Valid electrician license with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving electrical installations and renovations
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, PLC programming, and automation controls
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Prior handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
