Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries both in person and over the phone
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to promote products effectively
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, especially in technology or electronics sections
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure quick checkout processes
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers remotely
- Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product organization
- Assist in creating a welcoming environment through effective communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Bilingual abilities (English and additional languages) are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills required
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills essential for customer interactions

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
