Event Production/Logistics Manager
*PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WITH EVENT EXPERIENCE - SPECIFICALLY WEDDINGS, SOCIAL EVENTS, CORPORATE EVENTS, GALAS, ACTIVATIONS
**YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND THE ABILITY TO DRIVE CUBE TRUCKS AND VANS.
JOB BRIEF
We are looking for a reliable production/logistics Coordinator to work with our team to be responsible for the overall supply chain and technical management with supervision and control of production processes.
The responsibilities include;
· Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
· Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle
· Liaising with coworkers
· Organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.
· Planning and organising production schedules
· Assessing project and resource requirements
· Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
· Determining quality control standards
· Overseeing event production, installation and removal processes
· Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials as needed
· Organising the repair and routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles
· Organising relevant training sessions
· Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
· Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
· Resolve any arising problems or complaints
· Supervise, coach and train workforce
· Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
· Loading and unloading event materials from vehicles into and out of event venues safely and quickly
· Setting decor, furniture, floral, small goods(votives), custom art assembly and making sure everything looks great

Requirements
· Proven working experience (or equivalence) as a logistics manager
· Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
· Valid Drivers license and the ability to drive vans and large trucks
· Physically able to do the job
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- event or production: 1 year (preferred)
