We are hiring for a Production Supervisor for Afternoon Shift to join our team in Newmarket! The successful candidate will oversee the staff and operations ensuring parts are completed and available for scheduled deliveries.
Duties:
-
Oversee all aspects of Production – Demands Company wide, Schedule of machines, coordinating across shifts

Utilize ERP, daily reports, weekly meetings, and Work Order Program to input and track production

Communicate schedule to all pertinent people
-
Schedule regular machine maintenance with maintenance department
-
Resolve and report any issues that may arise to the Plant Manager
-
Enforce compliance of company policies and procedures maintaining a safe and effective work environment

Work with the Plant Manager to ensure that there are the proper number of people to meet production needs

Work with the Production Assistant(s) to schedule machines and personnel
-
Part of improving efficiencies in all aspects (total parts, parts per hour produced, PPM defects, downtime, employee productivity) of production.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, ERP)

Strong organizational skills

Confident, able to make sound decisions and resolve issues that arise

Effective communicator with staff as well as all levels of management

Flexible, innovative and comfortable setting own priorities

Thrives working in a very fast-paced environment
Education/Certification/Experience:

Minimum 5 Years as Production Supervisor or equivalent (required)

Valid lift truck license (preferred)

JHSC certification (preferred)
Job Details:
Starting Salary Range from $52,000 to $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
Afternoon Shift: 3pm-12am from Monday to Friday
