Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately from guests for drinks and food, ensuring timely delivery with a positive attitude
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety standards
- Serve food items efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and guest satisfaction
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory checks and restocking supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash register software
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws is desirable
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
