Altera Acquisition Group partners with leading home service brands across Ontario. Our inside sales team pre-books consultations with homeowners who have already expressed interest in available home energy programs. Your role is to arrive on time, run the consultation, and close on-site.

WHERE WE'RE DEPLOYING
We are actively hiring across 9 Ontario territories:
- Vaughan
- Mississauga
- Scarborough
- Hamilton
- Markham
- Oshawa
- Barrie
- Niagara
- London
Candidates are matched to a territory based on residence and availability. Some territories have limited capacity, and placements are offered in the order complete applications are received.
A DAY AT ALTERA
Altera reps don't grind. They execute.
10:00 AM. Morning Huddle. Review yesterday's numbers. Roleplay objections. Plan the day. You don't get better in the field. You get better in the huddle.
11:00 AM. Hit the Territory. Full appointment sheet. Homeowners who have already expressed interest. You're not hunting. You're closing.
11:30 AM to 7:30 PM. 5 to 7 In-Home Consultations. One-hour blocks. Build rapport, present options, handle objections, close on-site. Reps who run the system consistently hit one close per two consultations. That is the math behind $150K to $200K earning years.
8:00 PM. Debrief. Log numbers, sync with your leader, review what worked. Wins are recognized. Misses are coached. Debriefs are conducted remotely by phone or video from wherever your last appointment ends.
Saturdays. Optional but strongly recommended. Saturday is the highest-intent day of the week. Homeowners are home, decisions happen faster, and top producers consistently work it.
THIS IS PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT, NOT A JOB
- Development begins on Day 1, not after a probation period
- Coaching happens daily, not in quarterly reviews
- Performance is tracked on a live leaderboard, not in HR reports
- The career compounds: sales skill, closer's mindset, territory ownership, leadership pipeline
Reps who run this system for 12 months do not return to average roles. The standard is set.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience is not required. The right wiring is.
You'll succeed at Altera if you:
- Are motivated by earning potential over comfort
- Welcome direct feedback and apply it quickly
- Are building a long-term career in sales, not a short-term paycheck
- Hold yourself to a high standard of punctuality and accountability
- Hold a valid Ontario driver's license and have reliable vehicle access
- Are proficient with smartphone-based tools (CRM, scheduling, digital documentation)
- Present yourself professionally and communicate with clarity and confidence
You won't succeed at Altera if you:
- Expect easy or passive income
- Default to blaming leads, territory, or circumstances before reviewing your own execution
- Require constant supervision to maintain output
Prior experience in HVAC, solar, insurance, telecom, or any in-home direct sales is an asset but not a requirement. We have developed consistent $100K+ closers from adjacent fields when the underlying capability was present.
COMPENSATION
- 100% commission, uncapped
- Paid weekly following a 2-week ramp period
- Annual earnings of $80,000 to $150,000+ for consistent performers
- Top producers earn well above that range
- Performance bonuses at volume milestones
- Mileage reimbursement for field coverage
- Advancement path: Rep, Senior Rep, Team Lead, Regional
This is a 100% commission role. Candidates who require a guaranteed base salary should not apply. Candidates who want uncapped earnings on pre-set appointments, supported by real infrastructure, should.
