Laborer - Civil & Residential Construction
Frazer Excavation is immediately hiring experienced laborers for residential projects in the lower mainland. We are a mid-sized, multi-disciplinary Contractor based out of Maple Ridge, specializing in civil/earthworks and land clearing/grinding/biomass. Ownership is actively involved in the daily operations of the company. We self-perform much of the work we contract in order to maintain control of schedule, quality and cost. Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the job site Foreman, this position is responsible for safely and efficiently assisting the Foreman, Equipment Operators, and other job site crew members with all tasks and assigned duties. If you are hard working and looking for a career with the potential to advance, this is a position for you! Compensation will be based on experience.
Minimum 1 year experience with one or more of the following duties is required.
- Laying and bedding of storm, sanitary, watermain, hydro, telus, and shaw pipe
- Cutting and beveling pipe with a cut off saw
- Road works and grading
- Rainwater and drain tile pipe work
- Slab prep and backfill
- Rolling and compacting of materials
- Shoveling and raking gravels
Employment Requirements:
- Driver’s License & own vehicle is an asset
- Proficient in English
- Physically able to perform tasks in various environments and conditions including heavy lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
